San Marzano, Italia
We named our pizzeria after our ancestors’ home town just outside Naples in Campania, one of Italy’s most picturesque and fertile agricultural regions. In the shadow of Mt. Vesuvius, San Marzano is famous worldwide for its sumptuously sweet, deep red tomatoes – a hallmark of Neapolitan pizza.
San Marzano’s warm, sunny climate, rich volcanic soil and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea are perfect for growing its legendary tomatoes, healthy grains, and world-famous wine grapes.
